Press-On Nail Sizing Guide

A comfortable, natural-looking fit starts with accurate measurements. Measure every nail before ordering, because the same finger can differ slightly between your left and right hand.

How to Measure Your Nails

1. Place a soft measuring tape or a narrow strip of paper across the widest curved part of your natural nail.
2. Measure from one sidewall to the other, following the curve of the nail rather than measuring straight across the top.
3. If you use paper, mark both sidewalls and measure the distance between the marks with a ruler.
4. Record the width of all ten nails in millimetres.

Size Reference

Measurements are approximate. Handmade sets and natural nail curves can vary slightly.

Choosing Between Sizes

Select the set that covers all five nails without pressing into the skin or leaving the sidewalls exposed. If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger set and gently file the side edges for a custom fit. Do not force a nail that feels tight or pinches the sidewalls.

Fit Check Before Application

• Lay out all ten press-ons before using adhesive.
• Each press-on should sit from sidewall to sidewall without touching skin.
• The cuticle edge should follow your natural cuticle line.
• File only a small amount at a time and check the fit frequently.

Application & Care Guide

Good preparation makes the biggest difference to fit and wear. Choose the correct size for every nail before opening or applying any adhesive.

Prepare Your Natural Nails

1. Wash your hands and dry them completely.
2. Gently push back the cuticles with a wooden stick.
3. Lightly buff away surface shine and remove all dust.
4. Wipe each nail with an alcohol pad to remove oil and moisture.

Apply with Adhesive Tabs

1. Choose a tab that fits the natural nail without touching the skin.
2. Place the tab on the nail and press from the centre toward the edges.
3. Remove the protective film, then align the press-on close to the cuticle at a slight angle.
4. Press firmly across the entire nail for 15-20 seconds.

Adhesive tabs are best for short-term wear and easy reuse. Avoid water, oil, lotion, and steam for at least two hours after application.

Apply with Nail Glue

1. Follow the directions and safety information supplied with your nail glue.
2. Apply a thin, even layer. Avoid skin and cuticles.
3. Align the press-on near the cuticle and lower it onto the nail at a slight angle.
4. Press firmly for the time stated on the adhesive packaging.

Wear time varies with preparation, adhesive, nail shape, and daily activity. Never use more adhesive than the product directions recommend.

Remove Adhesive Tabs

1. Soak fingertips in comfortably warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes. A small amount of cuticle oil can help loosen the edges.
2. Gently work a wooden stick under one side of the press-on. Stop and soak again if it resists.
3. Roll away remaining tab adhesive with the wooden stick.
4. Clean and dry the press-ons before storing them.

Remove Nail Glue

Use the removal method recommended by your glue manufacturer. Apply remover only as directed, allow enough time for the adhesive to loosen, and lift gently from the side. Never pull, pry, or force a press-on from the natural nail.

Care & Reuse

• Wear gloves for cleaning, dishwashing, and prolonged water exposure.
• Avoid using your press-ons as tools to open or scrape objects.
• After removal, clear away adhesive gently without thinning the press-on.
• Store clean, dry nails in their case away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
• Stop use if you experience pain, redness, swelling, or irritation.
